Here’s a plan: Turn off lights (Tip 1)

  • by
  • Pop reading lamps and other low-energy lights around the place to avoid bumping into the furniture and only use the bright lighting when you are in the room for a period of time.
  • If you’re really feeling inspired, look into some motion sensor lighting. Not only with this reduce your need to physically turn off the lights, it can give you that ‘Welcome’ feeling when arriving to an empty house.
  • You can also dot candles around the place, especially beeswax candles that are the longest burning, cleanest burning, and highest quality candle material available.
